Try CloudQuery Platform Today: Self-Service Signup Is Here

We kept hearing the same thing: "I don't want a call. I want to log in."
So that's what we built.

What's Changing? #

CloudQuery Platform is now open for self-service signup. Go to the website, create an account with your business email, and choose your path:
  • Platform (SaaS) - we spin up a dedicated tenant for you, and your 14-day free trial begins with your first sync.
  • Self-hosted CLI - the same open setup journey as today, if you'd rather run everything yourself.
If you choose Platform, you don't need to install anything to get started. Set up a sync directly in the UI, or - if you're already a CLI user - sync from the CloudQuery CLI straight into your Platform tenant. Either way, once your data lands, the full Platform experience is unlocked: ask the AI Assistant questions about your infrastructure, set up policies, browse Insights, and build reports.

How Does the Free Trial Work? #

The trial is designed around one idea: you should reach a real insight about your own cloud infrastructure, fast.
A few specifics worth knowing:
Free Trial
Length14 days, starting from your first completed sync
IntegrationsUnlimited - connect as many sources as you like
AI Assistant10 conversations during the trial
TenantDedicated instance, created automatically at signup
After it endsSyncs stop and data is deleted unless you subscribe or extend
The clock starts at your first sync, not at signup. We did this deliberately - connecting an integration and waiting for data is the slowest part of any evaluation, and we don't want that time counting against you. The trial measures how long you have with your data, not how long you've had an account.
During the two weeks, you'll get a short guided email series walking through what the Platform can do with the data you've synced: questions to ask the AI Assistant, how to set up your first policies, what to look for in Insights, building reports, and inviting your team with role-based access control. If you'd rather explore on your own, that works too - everything is available from day one.

Two Ways to Get Your Data In #

Option 1: Sync from the Platform UI. Pick an integration - AWS, GCP, Azure, or any of the others - configure credentials, and run the sync directly from the browser. No local install.
Option 2: Sync from the CLI to Platform. If you already use the CloudQuery CLI, you can now sync to your Platform tenant as a destination. The onboarding flow walks you through it. This is the path we recommend for teams that already have CLI configs they trust - same syncs, but the data lands somewhere you can actually explore it with the AI Assistant, Policies, and Insights on top.
And if you'd rather stay fully self-hosted, the CLI-only journey is still right there at signup. Nothing about the open-core workflow changes.

What Happens When the Trial Ends? #

When your 14 days are up, syncs stop and your tenant's data is deleted. We'll remind you by email before that happens - at day 10 and again the day before - so nothing disappears by surprise.
Need more time? Reach out and we'll extend your trial. Ready to commit? Subscribe directly from the billing page at any point during the trial, and your tenant carries on without interruption.

What Does It Cost After the Trial? #

We know from years of working with CloudQuery users that many of our largest deployments started as one engineer running a small experiment. Team is built for exactly that engineer.

Frequently Asked Questions #

Who Can Sign Up for the CloudQuery Platform Trial? #

Anyone with a business email address. Personal email domains (like Gmail) aren't supported for Platform signup - if you don't have a business email, the self-hosted CLI remains fully available.

When Does the 14-Day Trial Start? #

The trial starts when your first sync completes, not when you create your account. Take as long as you need to connect your first integration.

What's Included in the Free Trial? #

A dedicated Platform tenant, unlimited integrations to sync from, 10 AI Assistant conversations, and full access to Policies, Insights, and Reports for 14 days.

Can I Use the CloudQuery CLI With My Platform Trial? #

Yes. You can sync from the CLI directly to your Platform tenant - the onboarding flow guides you through it. You can also set up syncs entirely in the Platform UI without installing anything.

What Happens to My Data When the Trial Ends? #

If you don't subscribe or extend, syncs are stopped and all trial data is deleted. You'll receive email reminders at day 10 and day 13 before anything is removed.

Can I Extend My Trial? #

Yes - contact us before (or shortly after) your trial ends and we can extend it or help you reactivate your account.

How Do I Convert to a Paid Plan? #

Open the Billing page in your Platform tenant at any point during the trial. The Team plan ($500/month) is self-serve via Stripe; Foundation and Enterprise plans are available through our sales team.

Does This Change Anything for Self-Hosted CLI Users? #

No. The CLI-only journey is still available at signup and works exactly as before. Self-service Platform signup is an additional path, not a replacement.
