Overview #

CloudQuery Tines plugin pulls data like Stories, Resources and Audit Logs from the Tines API and loads it into any supported CloudQuery destination (e.g. PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, and more).

Authentication #

The plugin authenticates to the Tines API using an API key. Follow these steps to obtain your API key and configure authentication:

Log in to your Tines tenant
Navigate to Settings > API Keys
Click ** New ** to create a new API key and select the type of key based on your security requirements (some tables will only sync resources when using a tenant-wide key)
Copy the generated API key and use it in your CloudQuery source configuration (or as an environment variable)

Configuration #

This example syncs data from Tines to a single destination. The (top level) source spec section is described in the Source Spec Reference.

Tines Spec #

This is the (nested) spec used by the Tines source plugin.

tenant_domain (string) (required)
The base URL of your Tines tenant (e.g., https://example-tenant.tines.com).
api_key (string) (required)
Your Tines API key. You can generate an API key in your Tines tenant under Settings > API Keys. Some tables will only sync resources when using a tenant-wide key.

Overview #
