CloudQuery Is Merging with Env Zero
Dear CloudQuery Customers,
I started CloudQuery to help organizations with complex, multi-cloud environments better understand what infrastructure they have, and how it is configured. As we have evolved our product, we have heard from our users and customers that they want to do more with the data and insights they get from CloudQuery.
Today I am happy to share that we are taking a big step towards making your cloud asset data actionable: CloudQuery and env zero are joining forces, and we have officially merged.
I will be moving to a new role within the combined company as CTO, and I am excited to welcome env zero's CEO Steve as the CEO of the combined entity.
The Vision #
Cloud governance is never a solved problem: we work with our customers every day to improve their cloud operations, starting with visibility. The addition of env zero's capabilities will allow us to help organizations take the cloud asset inventory they gain from CloudQuery, and make it actionable.
env zero is a world class infrastructure lifecycle management platform, with robust capabilities around infrastructure as code automation, cloud governance policies and workflows, cost, and security.
Together, we envision a world where cloud governance, operations, and platform teams no longer have to struggle with an operational gap. With one platform that spans cloud visibility and infrastructure automation, that world is possible.
What Happens Today #
The CloudQuery that you know and love is not changing today. Support will continue, and your team doesn't need to retrain, re-platform, or reprioritize. We made a deliberate decision to keep both platforms stable so that this transition creates zero disruption to your operations.
What changes is what's coming. The combined roadmap moves faster and goes further than either company could alone. If you want to help shape what we build next, we are actively looking for design partners. The teams who join early will have a direct line to the product.
Thank you,
Yevgeny Pats
